DRYING FOR FREEDOM receives its first official London screening at the PECKHAM & NUNHEAD FREE FILM FESTIVAL with exclusive Q&A with the movie’s award-winning director Steven Lake. The documentary will be screening at 4pm on Saturday 22nd September as part of the Welcome to Busseywood movie event. Documentary director Steven Lake will introduce the film, with a Q&A session afterwards.
Now in its third year, this community-run festival takes place across London SE15. Events include film screenings, filmmaking, children’s films, discussions and bike-powered events. Everything is planned and run by local volunteers as the festival aims to help build a stronger community; every event is free, so everyone can join in.
The Bussey Building is the venue for a free 16 hour film and music event, Welcome to Busseywood, part of the Peckham and Nunhead Free Film Festival. With music and film screenings taking place across 3 floors on 6 screens, Welcome to Busseywood is a true celebration of all things film and music.
